Pakistan is an enthralling country with stunning beauty, a diverse culture, and a complex history. The country is now an ethnic and linguistic mosaic (more than 70 languages are spoken in Pakistan) and the people reflect the country’s diversity. Pakistan has over 200 universities, both public and private. Some of them have been around since the country was first formed. When Pakistan became independent, the government set up many universities, especially in sciences and engineering, to provide important skills. Today, these universities still focus on science, medicine, and technology.

These universities welcome students from around the world. Many international students, including those from Saudi Arabia, Africa, China, America, and Europe, choose to study in Pakistan. All public universities in Pakistan teach in English, and the cost of living is relatively low, making it an attractive option. Tashheer’s research team collected data from various sources to list the best universities in Pakistan.

In Pakistan, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) offers official rankings for higher education institutions (HEIs) based on various criteria. Additionally, there are rankings provided by magazines, newspapers, and international agencies. The best universities in Pakistan, according to Tashheer’s University Rankings 2024, are highlighted.
