Omakase お任せ "o-makase"

Omakase is a Japanese concept that originated in sushi restaurants: customers leave it up to the chef to choose the dishes and create a true tasting experience. Customers who order omakase style expect the chef to be innovative and surprising in their selection of dishes, and the meal can be compared to an artistic performance.

Ordering an Omakase can be a gamble, but the customer usually receives high quality dishes available at a lower cost than if they had ordered à la carte.

This experience is intended for both beginners and experienced matcha enthusiasts: anyone who wants to discover the richness of the world of matcha with its different terroirs, cultivars, qualities, and artisan producers.

Our monthly programme is very successful and highly appreciated by the Kumiko Matcha community and many matcha enthusiasts. It allows us to showcase a large part of our range, which contains between 13 and 16 unique organic and natural matcha teas.

We noticed that over the course of a month, many of us like to try several different matcha teas, myself included. I enjoy being able to taste and choose a different matcha every day. To offer you the same opportunity, We decided to offer a quarterly subscription with three different matcha teas every three months, instead of just one each month. To enhance the discovery and satisfaction of the matcha ritual.

What's more, you save on delivery charges, as they are free with our quarterly programme. This reduces the number of parcels, which is also good for the planet.

Over time, you will receive all the organic and natural matcha teas in our catalogue at a rate of 3 matcha teas every 3 months by paying a fixed quarterly price of €124. including hyper-premium organic matcha at the same great price.

Second delivery (3 months after the first parcel): 

1. Organic Matcha Okumidori
2. Ultra-premium organic premium matcha

Third delivery (6 months after the first parcel): 

1. Organic Matcha Saemidori
2. Organic Premium Matcha Barista
3. Matcha Furukawa Samidori organic

Once this Omakase experience has introduced you to all our matcha teas, you will have the choice to end the experience or continue tasting the new vintages.
