Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky. Romeo and Juliet in a solo piano version! A project with a unique perspective, coupling two of the most famous pieces of music based on Shakespeare's tragedy "Romeo and Juliet", Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky, in a solo piano version! Prokofiev's "Ten Pieces" was composed (arranged) in 1937 and premiered by the composer himself. The solo piano version of Tchaikovsky's "Romeo and Juliet" was arranged by Carl Beal (1833-1892), a composer of the same generation as the composer. The arrangement was commissioned by the Berlin, Germany, publishing house Bote und Bock, and was arranged from a second draft in 1870. Danila Tomasetti is a female pianist who has won first prizes and prizes in piano and chamber music competitions in Italy and abroad, including the European Music Competition in Moncalieri and the Corrado Corso Euterpe.With a wide range of repertoire from baroque to contemporary, and with particular expertise in the Romantic period and 20th century Russian repertoire, the group's enthusiasm for this "Romeo and Juliet" program is extraordinary.
