Dark gem colored velvet tank dress by Young Edwardian, a division of Arpeja. This label was used in the 80s until 1994 and the dress has a late 80s, early 90s look. The (no stretch) velvet fabric is an acetate rayon blend with a floral paisley design. Colors include: black, purple, cranberry, green and gold. The more close up photos show the colors best. Dress has a fitted tank shape with a scoop neck, low back, and 11" zipper in back. Very nicely constructed: neckline and armholes have facings and interfacing, which you don't see much anymore. Bust darts and contour darts, front and back for a fitted silhouette. 6" pleated slit in back. Simple, yet gorgeous gem of a vintage dress that is sure to turn heads!
