This handmade ceramic serving bowl was inspired by quiet mornings at the beach—where sand meets sea and the sky rolls in soft and blue. Glazed in a sandy beige with a layered blue gradient, it brings a little coastal calm to your table.

The wheel-thrown form is finished with a hand-altered wavy rim, giving it the feel of a wind-shaped shoreline. No two are exactly alike, but each is made with intention, imperfection, and a whole lot of mud-slinging in my studio in the woods of northern Pennsylvania.

At just over 11 inches wide and 4.5 inches tall, this bowl is ready for big batches of pasta, fresh fruit, or whatever’s too pretty for a plastic Tupperware.
