Effects of this medicine
・This medicine has vasodilatory effects on both peripheral and coronary arteries to increase blood flow. These effects improve the transport of both oxygen and nutrition into cardiac cells and reduce systemic vascular resistance, arterial pressure and workload in the heart.
・It is usually used for the treatment of angina pectoris. It is not used for the acute relief of angina pectoris.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (20 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, twice a day, and this may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms. If the dose seems to be insufficient, take 2 tablets (40 mg) at a time, twice a day. If you are effort angina or effort and rest angina and determined serious condition on number of angina attack and exercise tolerance, take 2 tablets (40 mg) at a time, twice a day. ・Pay attention that drinking may enhance your sensitivity to the vasodilatory effect and cause hypotension.
・This medicine may impair your attentiveness, concentration and/or reflexes movement performance due to adverse reactions such as headache. If you feel these symptoms, avoid operating a motor vehicle or machinery.
