The 61EDPH Mk III features a triplet air-spaced APO design and two low dispersion ED glass elements for excellent imaging performance. With a focal length of 360mm and a focal ratio of 5.9, this telescope supports a 44mm full-frame imaging circle, making it ideal for both visual observation and astrophotography.

This model has upgraded its handle to a multifunctional design that accommodates a universal Vixen-style finder scope base. Additionally, the 61EDPH Mk III is equipped with a 200mm long Vixen-style dovetail plate for easier attachment to equatorial mounts, enhancing balance and usability. Its smooth lines and classic red and white color scheme reflect high-quality CNC machining and durable surface finishes.

Reducer and Flattener (Optional Accessory)

This telescope can be enhanced with a dedicated full-frame reducer that connects via M68 × 1 threads. This reducer allows for an extended back focus of 75mm, reducing the focal ratio to f/4.4, making it an excellent choice for deep-sky astrophotography.
