This 80s caftan-style maxi dress has the most spectacular peacock design, hand-painted and lavishly beaded, that really pops against the lightweight, black cotton fabric. Colorful sequins along with glass and pearl beads enhance the large, hand-painted peacock on the front, as well as the peacock feather pattern around the back of the neck. The maxi-length dress features straight sleeves with wide arm openings and a scalloped, scoop neckline. The overall silhouette is straight but full, intended for a loose and comfortable fit, widening just slightly from the bust to the hem. The very lightweight woven cotton fabric is almost sheer. This fabulous 70s caftan maxi dress is in excellent to mint condition, and appears unworn.
