Uniview’s LightHunter Technology

The LightHunter technology is an innovative technology that delivers vivid color, appropriate brightness, and extremely clear images in ultra-low light. LightHunter technology significantly improves the image brightness with F1.6 large iris design & BSI sensor. With the specially designed large size sensors, the IPCs have higher photosensitivity, and feature high SNR. Uniview's uniquely patented technology U-ISP improves the definition and brightness of images. U-ISP features a new generation of noise reduction technology to improve signal to noise ratio and reduce blur. It effectively reduces blur during objects moving, which ensures that the image is restored to the true scene. Combining hardware and software advantages, Uniview's LightHunter technology guarantees the image full of color under ultra-low light environments.

Ultra Motion Detection (UMD)

Conventional motion detection analyzes the differences between adjacent video frames to detect if there is any change. There is a challenge with this type of detection, however. When you don't have control over the environment, it is difficult to prevent unintended alarms. In other words, you end up with a lot of false alarms which is counterproductive since the objective is effective surveillance.

Ultra motion detection (UMD) is like conventional motion detection on steroids—it's more accurate and efficient than traditional motion detection. Ultra motion detection supports the targeting of three different object types: motor vehicle(s), non-motor vehicle(s), and human(s) / pedestrian(s). UMD filters objects based on motion detection, detects the motion of very specific object types, and triggers an alarm when the motion of those object(s) are detected. 

Smart Intrusion Prevention (SIP)

Uniview's smart intrusion prevention (SIP) technology is designed to improve perimeter protection and achieve efficient management of a surveillance system. It allows end users to monitor key areas in real time, and liberate security personnel from the tedious and constant inspection of monitored areas. Through target classification, users can focus only on the targets they care about instead of wading through a mountain of false alarms. This enables users to retrieve the information from the NVR quickly and accurately.
