The debut album from West Yorkshire four-piece Working Men's Club has finally been released. The album features 10 tracks, including the popular singles "Teeth," "White Rooms and People," and "A.A.A.". Produced by Ross Orton (The Fall, M.I.A., Arctic Monkeys)When 18-year-old leader and singer Sydney Minsky-Sargeant was a minor, he frequented a wood-paneled venue run by a community, The band, Working Men's Club, was named after this venue. At the time, Syd began assembling the ten songs that would appear on the album at his home in Todmorden, West Yorkshire, and this was the start of the band.Working Men's Club's hard-edged electronic sound was a direct result of producer Ross Orton ( The Fall, M.I.A., Arctic Monkeys).The Working Men's Club has experienced more in the past year than most bands do in a lifetime. more than most bands do in a lifetime. Two original members left the band and three new members joined. Two singles, "Teeth" and "White Rooms and People," received critical acclaim from BBC 6 Music, Beats 1, NME, The Guardian, DIY, Q, and more. They also toured with Fat White Family, Mac De Marco, and Bodega, and their headlining UK tour was a sell-out.
